Modular structure

Each level consists of 2 parallel plug-in capacitors on a steel rack composed of 4 flanges, each modular unit containing three levels is placed in a container, which is convenient for transportation, assembly and dismantling.

It is applicable to the impulse insulation withstand test and the air gap research test of high-voltage electrical products on site or in field.

Convenient transportation

Standard container is provided, which enables transportation, assembly and dismantling anytime and anywhere.

Convenient waveform modulating

Non-inductive hand-winding is employed for the waveform modulating resistor; the loop inductance is small, which makes it is easy to modulate a lightning waveform to be standard.

Fine synchronization performance

A unique synchronization technology is adopted with a synchronization range no less than 20% and an out-of-control ratio no more than 1%.

Simple operation

Spring crimping connecting terminal of resistor is adopted for easy, fast and convenient replacement;
An ascent ladder is provided in the generator for safe and convenient operation.

High output efficiency

Lightning wave efficiency≥90%; operating wave efficiency≥70% (under 3000pF total load)

Stable system performance

Long-time running at 80% of the rated voltage.

Oscillating lightning wave

Oscillating lightning wave with the efficiency ≥150% can be generated.

Oscillating operating wave

Oscillating operating wave with the efficiency ≥150% can be generated.

Integrated structure is employed for the charging device and the main body of the impulse voltage generator.

Bilateral symmetrical charging is employed for the charging device.

Automatic grounding and automatic switching of polarity are available in the charging device.

The discharging ball is installed in a sealed insulating cylinder and clean air is continuously supplied to the insulating cylinder by a blower.

Dry-type capacitor is used as the main capacitor.

Oscillating waveform modulating resistor is externally installed.

This series of products are the initiative ones of BHT in China and have become the indispensable main equipment in GIS on-site commissioning test.
