Jars are widely used for food, hand-made sauces. In order to stand out from the shelf, shrink sleeve label is a good option. Normally PVC shrink sleeve is used for cost consideration. Perforation line is normally added to the jar shrink sleeve labels, which can be teared off and reuse of the jars.

How are shrink sleeve labels are applied to the jars
1. Machine shrunk
- Contract packager applied shrink sleeves to jars using a heat or steam tunnel.
- Generally used for higher volumes
2. Hand shrunk
- Hand held heat gun or shrink box can be used to shrink sleeves on jars.
- Best for lower volume jobs or prototyping.
Storage requirement
Shrink sleeve labels must be stored in climate controlled environment.
- 35℃ or cooler for storage and shipping.
- Refrigerator shipping containers are needed especially during summer months.
